Creating a Job / Dispatching a worker (attaching a worker to an employer)

  1. Hover over Dispatch and click Create a Job
  2. Choose the employer
  3. Select Request Type – Call by Name to choose specific workers, or Open Call to put out a call to workers on the out of work list based on when they signed into the out of work list.
  4. Choose the Industry the job is for
  5. Click ‘Go’
  6. Skill does not apply to BAC1 - you can skip filling this out
  7. Choose what member Statuses to include in the open call
  8. Specify a Report At Time – must be one hour in the future (this can be changed after the job is created)
  9.  Call Number does not apply to BAC1 – skip this
  10. Specify a Location – Select ‘Worksite’ – we can create additional locations as needed
  11. Report Location is not required – if there is a specific report to location, we can create these options as needed
  12. Enter notes and/or parking instructions – these will show up the dispatch that will be printed out
  13. Specify the worker(s) to call by entering their name(s) or ID(‘s) and clicking ‘Filter’ (enter ‘*’ to see all available workers in the specified industry)
  14. Send Notifications – Yes or No – this is primarily used if an employer is logging in to create jobs – they can be notified when the job is approved, filled, accepted, etc.  This is not the dispatch itself.  This may be useful if employers are logging in to the system in the future.  This can also notify workers via email with a link to the dispatch in Sirius, if workers are able to log into the system.
  15. Check off that the information above is accurate and click Submit

Once a job exists:

  1. Hover over Dispatch and click ‘All Recent Dispatches’
  2. Go to any dispatch that is in requested status – click the check box to the left of the worker and click ‘Accept Dispatch’ – the worker is now attached to that employer and will show up on Transmittals.

To Lay people off:

  1. Hover over Dispatch and click ‘All Recent Dispatches’
  2. Use the filter to find the worker name, employer
